Eric Dalton started playing guitar and writing music when he was 13 with genres ranging from metal and indie rock to pop. At his day jobs Eric was known as “the kid with the hair” and in high school many of his friends and teachers nicknamed him Bon Jovi!

His father Henry Farmer played bass guitar in the popular 80’s rock band DC Star and Eric’s early influences included AC/DC, Guns and Roses and Def Leppard. Eric formed a number of bands including metal group Taste the Mayhem. By virtue of winning “The NY Break Contest” the band got to open for Motley Crue at “The Bamboozle” concert at The Meadowlands in 2011 when Eric was just 17 years old.

Eric was exposed to new styles of music in college and formed the indie group “Elephant in the Room” with schoolmates Gianfranco Marinara and Nick Labodin. The material attracted the attention of producer David Simmons of David and Goliath Music. David and Eric produced an indie project using the name “Elephant Rumor” and are also writing and recording material with a distinct metal edge.

In 2014 Eric produced an EP of Def Leppard covers in his basement studio singing and playing all the instruments. He gave the CDs to the band at a meet and greet in Connecticut, which prompted singer Joe Elliot to send Eric an email stating “Wow, you sound frighteningly like me!” Later that year Eric and Mike Wunderlich started the metal band RETROFEELYA whose debut EP was released in 2015.

In 2015 Eric graduated from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry N.Y. with a BS in Music Production and Technology and entered into a production and co-writing partnership withDavid and Goliath Music. In 2016 Eric started Eric Dalton Productions and together he and David co-write, produce and master music.
